Art in the Wild: Call for Artists

Art in Wild is looking for Artists of all kinds to participate in this summer’s 2024 event. Looking for visual artists, musicians, performers, dancers, storytellers, sound and light artists. 

It’s the third iteration of Art in the Wild. We are excited to have received grants from the Manitoba Arts council and Canada Council for the Arts to support 13 artists with their creations. All artists will get paid fees for the event. Plus we have CARFAC travel support for 3 regional artists from outside the Flin Flon area and 1 national artist.

If you are interested and available for the following dates (Sept 6th & 7th)  please email borealgatherings@gmail.com to get a questionaire to fill out that will tell us about your ideas and it will also be given to a local panel of people to select projects to support if there are more participants then funds available. 

We are so excited to offer this platform to the community, we hope this encouraged experimental space allows us to see new faces presenting weird and wonderful work. And hope that you will reach out to us if you have any questions or want to talk through ideas or need help filling out the questionnaire.
